The Department Store Studios opened in 2021 as an independent co-working community of businesses in Brixton.
Over twelve months, I worked with The Studios to support the launch of their neighbourhood workspace. Leading communications for local and city-wide audiences, I created a strategy across digital channels, press and events to promote the workspace, create conversations across the property industry and attract tenants.

Locally I initiated work with local artists and established an annual Residency programme to create a platform for young talent and build meaningful connections with the community.
Press coverage included a BBC London Radio interview and features in Dezeen, Wallpaper and Property Week.
